Peat, Ghosts and Hurricane Lanterns

This knit is a pretty and practical piece to add to your wardrobe. A shrug with style, this garment includes a deep hood with gathers along the upper edges, a picot hem, short sleeves and a front closure clasp.

SIZING NOTES:
S – 13” across front
M – 16.5” across front
L – 20” across front
XL – 24” across front
I use the CYC standards for sizing, but because this is a garment that doesn’t go over the bust, the major measurements that affect it are the cross back measurement and top of arm measurement. These two numbers do vary over sizing, of course, but not as widely as the bust measurements.
Thus:
S size in the pattern corresponds to the XS & S
M in the pattern is M & L
the L in the pattern is XL & XXL
and the XL in the pattern is XXXL and up.
