Milk Maiden

Published in the book Brave New Knits, Milk Maiden is a body-hugging pullover, inspired by an etching by 16th century artist Lucas van Leyden.  The bust features ribbing topped by a pretty, delicate leaf edging.

5.5 sts and 8 rows/1” in stockinette stitch, unblocked

XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL)
This sweater is designed with negative ease. Choose the size that is approximately 5” smaller than your actual bust measurement.

Begin Bust Ribbing
NOTE: you will have 111 sts for the front after finishing your ribbing, not 113.

Shape Neck
Next rnd: Sm, k to marker before ribbing, sm, k19, BO 61 sts in patt, k19 to end of ribbing, sm, k to end of rnd.

The original pattern asks you to BO 63 sts, this is incorrect.
